Popeye, Olive Oyl, Wimpy, and Bluto compete across 12 races using 13 distinct locomotion types, such as driving cars, grinding rails on skateboards, or using jetpacks. Players navigate interactive landscapes to reach the spinach, engaging in single-player challenges or a four-player link mode that allows for both cooperative and confrontational racing.
